| Overview |
Education is vital to employee retention and satisfaction. As employees understand their total rewards package, they are more likely to remain with their company. Intermountain Compensation and Benefits Assocation (ICBA) is committed to providing quality education tools and experiences to its compensation and benefits professionals within the community. We provide many opportunities for both ICBA members and non-members to achieve this goal. Below are just few educational opportunities ICBA members enjoy. Local Educational Programs (Free for ICBA Members) On a quarterly basis, ICBA host local education programs for the continuing education of our members and guests. ICBA members can attend these events free with their paid membership. These events provide high quality content in the areas of compensation, benefits programs, or work-life initiatives. ICBA strives to provide guests with an expertise in these areas to benefit attendees. In addition, these events provide an ideal forum to network with other compensation and benefit professionals. These educational programs are typically held in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Please visit the events section http://www.icbautah.org/calendar.cfm of the website for more information. Certification Courses (Discounted for ICBA Members) Working towards your CCP or CBP, or interested in other WorldatWork certification? Members of ICBA receive a significantly discounted price of attending locally sponsored WorldatWork certification courses. By paying for an ICBA membership, the reduced price of the certification course can pay for annual membership fairly quickly. Please visit the events section http://www.icbautah.org/calendar.cfm of the website for more information. Network Affiliations (Discounted for ICBA Members) ICBA members also enjoy member discounts at the following local networks outside of Salt Lake City, UT. For example, you could attend a WorldatWork certification course in Denver or an education program in Seattle at their local network pricing. Please visit these websites for those locally hosted certifications and educational programs.
WorldatWork Special Pricing (Discounted for ICBA Members) ICBA members can get discounts on WorldatWork sponsored certifications, WorldatWork membership and even attendance at WorldatWork national conferences. In addition, ICBA members also enjoy member discounts on self-study courses, Live CourseCast or Live Webinar right from your desktop, or learn at your own pace by purchasing CourseCast and Webinars On-Demand.
